We are in no way officially affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the bakeries, restaurants, or businesses listed on this map.

The reviews, images, and ratings displayed on this platform, including those labeled as "Kozmoz Reviews" or "Guest Reviews", represent personal opinions based on individual experiences at the time of visiting. They do not constitute objective facts or professional culinary endorsements.

2. User-Generated Content (UGC) Guidelines

By logging in and submitting a public review, you agree to the following terms:

• Ownership: You retain ownership of the text you submit. However, by submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, modify, or distribute your review within the context of the platform.
• Acceptable Conduct: Reviews must solely pertain to the quality of the mince & cheese pie and the immediate service experience. You agree not to post content that is defamatory, malicious, intentionally false, threatening, discriminatory, or constitutes harassment.
• Right to Moderate: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to remove, edit, or obfuscate any reviews that violate these terms, including the use of automated profanity filters.
• No Vandalism: Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities, inject malicious scripts (XSS), or artificially inflate/deflate ratings via spam is strictly prohibited and will result in banning your IP address from participating.

Your privacy is important to us. Here is how we handle your data when you use the map:

• Social Logins: When you connect via third-party providers (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook), we request the minimum information necessary to create your profile on our platform—typically your public handle or display name. We do not have access to your passwords for these platforms.
• Spam Prevention (IP Logging): To maintain the integrity of our ratings, our servers may temporarily log your IP address to enforce review limits and prevent spam bots.
• Cookies/Local Storage: We use browser Local Storage to save your theme preferences (Dark/Light mode) and locally cache your review history for a faster experience.
• Third-Party APIS: The map relies on third-party services, including CARTO tile servers and OpenStreetMap. These services may log your IP address when fetching map tiles to display the interface to you.

4. Data Deletion Instructions (Facebook/Meta)

If you no longer want to use the Kozmoz Mince & Cheese Pie Map with your Facebook account, you can remove our app's access to your data at any time via your Facebook settings.

1. Go to your Facebook Account Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites.
2. Look for "Kozmoz NZ Pie Map" in your list of apps.
3. Click Remove.

To request full deletion of your Kozmoz profile and any associated reviews from our database, please contact the Kozmoz Team directly via our social channels.

5. Liability & "Eat at your own risk"

We do our best to ensure the map coordinates and bakery names are accurate, but businesses close, move, or change their recipes. We hold no liability if you travel to a location and the pie is sold out, no longer served, or causes personal dissatisfaction or dietary distress. Always verify with the business directly regarding allergens.
